Job Description
As an Engineering Director in Supply and Demand Technology you will be growing and leading a group of highly motivated Software Engineers. As well as guiding and coaching your team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, building and operating complex product activities, too.

You will get the unique opportunity to be a key part in further digitalizing the LEGO Supply Chain globally.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years hands-on Software engineering experience
  • 3-5 years experience in leading software engineers
  • Professional experience in software development and a deep understanding of technology
  • Proven track record in driving complex software development and deployment programs across organizational boundaries with an agile operating model
  • Strong ability to influence peers and influencing stakeholders proactively
  • Experience in Supply Chain processes is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in leading and defining modern software solution architectures using modern architecture design patterns and technologies
  • Proven track record in developing engineers to growth
  • MSc in Information Technology, Computer Sience or similar

Fluency in English language is required

Nice to Have

  • Experienced with at least one modern programming language, like Typescript, GoLang, etc
  • Proficient in modern technology stacks and architectural patterns like event driven architectures and microservices
  • Prior experience with domain driven design
  • Prior experience leading product teams in developing and operating cloud based software solutions
  • Prior experience in vendor management, RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes
