Do you want to use your knowledge of machinery and manufacturing technology in an innovative setting?
Then step into a key role where you support and cooperate with our production as you aid them in developing and implementing new products and improving manufacturing processes.
Your challenges
You will be instrumental in the development and upkeep of our production tools
at our factory in Skjern through the introduction and implementation of new technology and manufacturing processes.
As the technical point of contact between product development, equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers, project management and your colleagues in production, you spend the majority of your time in the production devoting your time to:
o Introducing new product launches and product changes into the production environment, in cooperation with supply project management
o Define and purchase new equipment for production setup, test equipment and production cells
o Validate production test series regarding new products, software, product updates and new equipment
o Coordinating, implementing and testing new technology
o Identifying, planning and realising continuous improvements to existing equipment and processes
o Conduct root cause and error analysis for quality issues, capacity problems and breakdowns
o Creating and managing production floor layout in cooperation with Production Supervisors
o Proposing and realizing projects focusing on better tools and machine utilization, consumable materials consumption and waste reduction
o Reacting on quality results deviations and proposing short and long term technical solutions in cooperation with Quality Department
The Technical Department team consists of 20 experienced industrial engineers and maintenance personnel ready to welcome you onboard. We do not expect you to know all there is to know about our tools and processes before you join us as these are specific to our trade. Instead, we are eager to share our knowledge and experience with you, letting you grow into the role.
Your qualifications
You are service-minded, known for your ability to listen, always seeking to find solutions through collaboration and dialogue. With your structured nature, you are able to keep many balls in the air and you are able to persist on getting each one completed with attention to quality. Moreover you:
o Likely have a background as a production technologist, automation technician, engineer or marine engineer. Alternatively you have some vocational education, such as auto mechanic, electrician or similar, combined with supplementary training in the field of engineering
o Likely have some experience in a similar role, perhaps from a production
A willingness to learn is important as well as experience with Microsoft Office and both speak and write English and Danish. We likewise expect that you are innovation oriented and interested in new technology and solutions.
