In the newly establish position as Head of Strategy & Business Development, you will report to our CEO and be responsible for building a brand-new department and hiring and training a high performing team.

A job with focus on leading strategy development, deployment, and execution
As Head of Strategy & Business Development, your primary area of responsibility will be to drive our strategy development, deployment, and execution. You will lead cross-organizational strategic projects while developing and driving the implementation of long-term strategy initiatives to support the business. You and your team will support top management with strategic insights and decision-making in strong collaboration with both Kamstrup business areas and local markets.

More specifically, the new Strategy & Business Development department will be responsible for:

• Driving long term strategic direction together with CEO and the Senior Management Team
• Conducting structured problem solving through project management and strategic projects
• Identifying new growth opportunities
• Identifying M&A opportunities and driving M&A processes
• Driving accountability in strategy execution

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious and competent Head of Strategy & Business Development with a strong drive and strategic mindset. It is a requirement that you:

• Have a theoretical background as cand.merc., cand.oecon or similar with top in class results
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience from a top tier consulting firm or a similar position in a large international company
• Extensive experience with strategy, business development, and M&A process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have international and industry experience, and know how to act in a global company
• Possess a high energy level and strong stakeholder management skills

As a person you have a structured approach to problem solving and you strive to deliver results. You are result oriented and possess a hard-working attitude. It is vital that you are outgoing and a strong team player, who can balance different organizational units within Kamstrup to reach our strategic goals. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator, who can perform and communicate to several organizational levels.

The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish will be an advantage.
