IT Support Trainee

Main responsibilities:

• IT Support:
  • Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
• Hands-on experience with PC Hardware:
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks:
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Maximise network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting network problems and scheduling upgrades.
• Others:
  • Maintenance of alarm system.
  • Take care of mobile phones and subscriptions.
  • Participate in projects.
  • Provide remote assistance to colleagues in other locations.
  • Responsible for employee internet connections.
  • Support of AV equipment.
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours.
  • Ability to travel across Europe (up to 10 days / year).
