Head of Allocation & Replenishment

As the Head of Allocation & Replenishment, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory management processes and ensuring the efficient flow of stock to meet demand across all European locations. You will lead a team of planners and assistants, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and maximize sales opportunities while minimizing costs.

You will become part of an international organisation, with a global perspective and report directly to the Commercial Trade Director. You will be based at our HQ office in Strandgade, in the heart of Copenhagen. Here you will become part of a dynamic, commercially oriented, and entrepreneurial work environment. This is the job

• Determine optimal inventory levels, reorder points, and safety stock levels based on demand forecasts, lead times, and service level objectives.
• Develop inventory management strategies to balance supply and demand, ensuring timely replenishment across warehouses, clusters, and locations.
• Continuously improve demand forecasting modelling in collaboration with inventory management solutions.
• Analyse inventory-related data, trends, and performance metrics to identify insights and opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance operations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Retail, Logistics, and Commercial Planning.
• Manage workflow and responsibilities of Allocation and Replenishment Planners.

More specifically the key responsibilities are:

• Optimize inventory levels to balance stock flow with demand across clusters, ensuring consistent delivery of ranged goods.
• Consolidate inbound and supply plans, creating outbound plans in conjunction with Logistics to ensure proper flow considering any constraints.
• Improve forecast accuracy to reduce the risk of stockouts.
• Maximize sales and minimize costs through optimized allocation across all European locations.
• Reduce excess and terminal inventory to prevent write-offs.
• Enhance relationships with other Commercial Planning, Logistics, and Retail teams.
• Utilize data and analytics to monitor KPIs and identify trends for process improvement.

This is you:

To succeed in the role, we imagine you have 5+ years of experience in inventory management, allocation, or replenishment roles, as well as some experience managing a smaller team.

Further:

• High proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Experience with tools such as Excel or inventory management software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
