Business Intelligence Specialist

The position
Job overall purpose:

• Planning, designing, and developing our Business Intelligence and Data solutions, primarily focusing on our Power Platform landscape (Power BI and Power Automate on top of Azure SQL Server data warehouse).
• Running projects independently and in close collaboration with team members and business stakeholders from all areas of the business.
• Anchoring the company’s strategic goals and objectives in our reporting and analysis landscape to help the business teams reach them and succeed.

Key Responsibilities and Tools:

• Develop and maintain an efficient BI landscape including…
  • Writing T-SQL queries and building reports. Primary tools are Microsoft Azure SQL Server and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Automate & Apps).
  • Contribute to building and enforcing our Playbook incl. standardization of templates, processes, and frameworks.
  • Contribute to our User Adoption, incl. training our users through our internal certification program and analysing and measuring usage metrics to increase and improve User Adoption.
• End-to-end deliveries working closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs and strategic objectives into BI and data solutions.
• Project management including task management using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Scoping out tasks, breaking them down into specific deliverables and keeping them up to date.
  • When projects include other data professionals from the team, delegation & coordination of tasks are essential too.

Experience:

• Some experience working with data and business (Azure SQL and Power BI are keywords. Power App, Power Automate and/or Data analysis is a plus).

• Fluent in English and Danish.

Education:

• Relevant Business education with Data/Finance/Math.
