Remote Operation Engineer

Are you an experienced Technical Engineer with a natural drive to assist customers and support the field operation? Are you a troubleshooter by nature with a strong service mindset? Do you have operating experience with pressurised chemical process systems? Then you might be the Remote Operation Engineer we are looking for to join our Remote Operation team in Kolding.

Your key responsibilities
In the position as Remote Operation Engineer, you will be first point of contact for Customer Operators, and it is your responsibility to prioritise and handle customer inquiries and delegate tasks to colleagues. You will monitor and trouble shoot on warnings and alarms, and you will be guiding customers on handling problems, basic maintenance, service, and repair tasks. A safety-first mindset with risk assessment and observation reporting is a must.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include:

  • Remote Support to Customer Operators and assisting customers creating Service Order Requests.
  • Proactive contact to customers and troubleshooting on warnings and alarms from GHS installed electrolysers.
  • Remote Operation of selected customer owned electrolysers based on H2 offtake parameters and customer demand.
  • Issuing reports to customers on operation KPI, event log and provide guidance on maintenance and optimisation.
  • Feedback learnings from Remote Operation to R&D and recommending upgrades to installed base and new products.

Reducing time spent on electrolyser maintenance and increase of electrolyser availability are key success criteria for the team. You are an important part of driving customer satisfaction. Cross-functional collaboration and communicating in a transparent manner is a prerequisite for succeeding in the role.

As a person, you are self-driven, responsible, and structured. You can complete complex tasks and manage several tasks simultaneously, still staying attentive to details if deadlines are tight. You thrive in a changeable and dynamic environment. You are service minded and hands-on, and you have a positive way of meeting customers and colleagues.

To apply for the Remote Operation Engineer role, your background is Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar. Working with HMI and PLC and experience with remote operation of other technicians is preferred. Commissioning of pressurised process systems is an advantage. You are familiar working with Microsoft Office, and you have SHEQ reporting experience. You must master English at a professional level both verbally and written.
