The position
Some of your main tasks will include:

• Assisting with projects to improve our manufacturing setup
• Supporting cross-functional activities to advance the use of innovative and existing technology
• Assisting with projects related to the design, development, and maintenance of equipment

The tasks will vary depending on the department and role. However, you can expect to become a valued team member, where people are eager to learn from you and your perspectives and take the time to provide you with valuable insights. You will interact with many colleagues within your team, department, or even across the organisation, managing many stakeholders. Your assignments will be influenced by your passion and motivation.

We focus on continuous introducing new ways of optimizing the way we work, becoming data-driven and a fully automized production plant. Novo Nordisk is leading the way in implementing cutting-edge technologies to enhance processes and boost productivity across our pen-needle manufacturing facilities.

Practicalities:

• Working hours: between 18-37 hours per week (flexibility during exam periods)
• Internship period: from 3 to 6 months (potential extensions up to a maximum of 12 months)
• Internships are paid if your educational program allows it
• A Danish full-time work permit is required

Please note that you can have an internship at Novo Nordisk only once, regardless of the duration.

Qualifications
As an Engineering intern applicant, you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Innovation) or other relevant fields with at least 6 months left of your studies.

As an applicant for IT & Digitalisation, you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Data Engineering Economics, Mathematics, IT & Automation, or other relevant fields, with at least 6 months remaining in your studies.

We are seeking interns who are eager to learn, able to manage their time effectively, and have some experience in their field and working with various stakeholders. Fluency in English is a requirement, and your CV should be submitted in English.

About the department
As an Intern, you'll be an integral part of the team from the start, contributing your ideas and playing a key role in the development and expansion of technology across our production facilities. Our teams offer a wide range of opportunities for you to work within numerous fields that have a direct impact on our business areas – from production to development.

As an Intern in our Engineering or Business Support teams, you'll have the opportunity to support and explore areas such as Good Manufacturing Process, Change Control and Supplier Evaluation, Validation of Equipment and Equipment Optimization, Systematic Problem Solving and LEAN, Advanced Automation, Machine Vision, Machine Learning and Virtual or Augmented Reality.

As an Intern in our IT & Digitalisation teams, you’ll will have the opportunity to work within a wide range of technologies such as Digital Solution, Data Science AI & ML, IT-Infrastructure & IT-security. You could be supporting areas such as Software Development, Solution & IT-architecture, Data Science & Engineering, Business Analytics, IT-Infrastructure & It-Security, IT-Project Management & Business Analysis and ML & AI.
