Strategic and operational COO for global tech company
Imagine a role where you as part of the management team is responsible for setting the strategic direction for a global tech company. Then imagine you're never too far from the operations to know where the challenges arise and where there are opportunities for growth. Yes, such a role does exist, and we are helping our client find the right candidate to fill the position.
Our client is looking for you who are ready to take on the responsibility as a COO. You will work at a strategic and operational level with responsibility for the supply chain team. This includes the following functions: New Product Introduction (NPI), strategic sourcing and procurement, production planning and mass production, production testing and product quality assurance.

Preferably you are located in North- or Middle Jutland. As you will be leading teams in both Denmark and Asia, you can expect approximately 60 travel days per year.

You already have market knowledge within tech development. This position allows you to go even further and gives you the ability to comply with the highest quality standards in the industry in both Asia and Denmark.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure growth and challenge status quo in the supply chain team and the company as a whole
• Lead experienced global teams in both Asia and Denmark
• Drive strategic sourcing towards electronic components suppliers
• Negotiate and create supply agreements and build strong relations with partners
• Develop a clear structure and plan to ensure systematization of product development

You are an experienced leader, and you use your experience to secure the following business KPIs: cashflow, COGS (cost of goods sold), inventory level, delivery performance and product quality performance.

We expect you to be top of the class with KPIs, and your focus on developing and maintaining a good working environment is what’s keeping you motivated and on top.

Your team spirit and motivational behavior makes you succeed
Preferably you have already experience from a C-level position or you might be ready to take the next step. Most importantly you know how to operate at this level and how to engage employees. Your natural way of building relationships with both customers, partners and employees gives you the right foundation to see the strategic plan through.

As you will be working closely together with the CEO a democratic leadership style is required.

With your growth-oriented mindset and direct leadership and communication style, you provide clarity and involvement from all levels of the company. You are motivated by taking significant responsibility for your team in the supply chain and are also committed to contribute to a joined effort to secure success for the entire company.

To succeed in this COO role, your personal characteristics are important, and we are specifically looking for someone who has:

• Experience from electronics manufacturing processes
• Experience with supply chain management
• Leadership experience with global teams and in particular Asian culture
• Experience in creating cost leadership
