Internship in Social Media Marketing - Hobbii

As a fast growing brand in a digital world, the close relationship we have to our passionate yarn-loving customers is key. That relationship is mainly built and nurtured through our colourful, fun and humoristic social media activities, which is why Social Media Marketing is a cornerstone in our brand strategy! … And why we are on the lookout for a curious and ambitious SoMe Intern, who can help us grow our SoMe channels through fun and engaging content and compassionate community management. 🚀

So! Are you a positive and outgoing SoMe fan? A content nerd with attention to detail? A creative spirit with an untamable curiosity towards social media trends. And do you have a strong desire to learn and get hands-on experience with organic social media marketing at scale? 🧶

Then you might be just the SoMe talent we are looking for!

You will report to our Social Media Manager and support our Organic Social team of 4, who work with coordinating content and campaigns across our organic social media channels. You will also work side by side with our content creators, and other stakeholders in the marketing department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Assist with the ideation, creation and coordination of social media campaigns, posts, and content across platforms and markets
• Copywrite texts and captions for social media
• Conduct social listening for trends within the industry
• Assist with scheduling social media posts and campaigns across platforms and markets through social media scheduling tools Agorapulse and Meta Business Suite
• Ad hoc assistance with visual content creation

We imagine you are/have:

• A student within the field of Marketing or Communications
• Strong native writing skills in English and/or Danish
• Strong attention to detail
• An understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Experience with copywriting and social media content creation (is a plus but not a requirement)
• A passion for social media and a desire to get hands on experience with social media marketing
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knit/crochet skills (are a plus but not a requirement)

Oh, and your friends say that you are:

• An open and social person with a positive mindset

Ps.

It is a plus if you speak crochet, and a sentence like…

“Ch 3, 2 dc in the ring, ch 2, * 3 dc in the ring, ch 2 *, repeat 3 times in total (= 4 groups of 3 dc), ch 1, join with a sl st in the 3rd ch, tighten the thread”

… can give you fluttering butterflies 🦋 in your stomach.

Or if you looove to knit and can’t go anywhere without at least one WIP in your bag.

But… Fear not. Being able to knit or crochet is not a requirement, as long as you are willing to learn the language. “Yarn” is pretty much all we speak here at Hobbii.

This is an unpaid full-time internship (37 hours) with a duration of minimum 4,5 months and preferably 6 months, starting in mid-August 2024.
