Senior Financial Controller - IMPACT

ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller in Copenhagen or Aarhus to join our finance team. As a Senior Financial Controller you will work closely together with the finance team. You will be responsible for the accurate financial figures for the legal entities and consolidation at group level. In collaboration with the organization, you must develop and streamline processes, controls and business procedures.

You will help drive the day-to-day operations of the Danish accounting team (dotted-line) as well as managing the European accounting team (currently being insourced from external providers). Direct reports to the Senior Financial Controller is expected to be two accountants.

We work in an international environment, and we will go the extra mile for supporting the organization and act as a true team player.

Each month you will lead the month end close on a group level and report to the board. You will work with the team on reporting revenue and CM, payroll run, fixed assets review of depreciations and assets under construction. You will insure accrual provisions, reallocations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

On a weekly basis, tasks will include approval and release of cash, procurement accounting and support to the business and the bookkeepers.

On an annual basis you will take on an active role in performing audits (PBC, Pre-audit, audit), own financial statements from creation, audit sign off and disclosure, and assuring tax return.

You will also have a central role in helping with managing the Partner and bonus program.

All the above will be completed in the framework of ongoing compliance with government regulations and with active contribution to the group internal control deliverables.

YOUR PROFILE
We imagine that you:

• Have a University degree in Finance, Controlling or related field.
• Have more than 5 years of experience in a Senior Financial Controller role or similar.
• Are experience on a professional-level in controlling, financial reporting & analysis.
• Are able to prioritise in a fast-paced work environment, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Can cope with pressure and being able to prioritise tasks.
• Have high level of skills within Microsoft Office, Business Central and Excel
• Some experience with people management.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in Excel, database management
• Timelog or similar resource planning tool.
• Analytical, forward-looking, strict cost and quality control.
• Teamplayer and autonomous with an efficient organisational communication
• Listening and learning attitude
• Reliable and accurate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Communication skills
• Fluent in English
