We are looking for an experienced Renewable Gas Portfolio Manager ready to lead, innovate, and shape the future of renewable gas trading in MFT Energy. The job as Renewable Gas Portfolio Manager
As a part of our newly established Renewable Gas Trading team, you will be operating at the forefront of the energy sector to facilitate market efficiency and sustainability. Your expertise and innovative approach will help push the boundaries and set the direction of the team and the future of renewable gas trading.

The team works closely together with our gas trading team, which has a deep and solid understanding of the European physical gas system. The gas team holds a substantial capacity and storage portfolio. The renewable gas trading desk is committed to optimizing strategies to facilitate the growing energy sector and to create the highest possible value for our customers and MFT Energy. We strive to become a market leader in renewable gas, and this is your chance to take ownership and become part of this journey. You will be reporting to our Head of Renewable Gas.

Your main tasks

• Assist in building and developing MFT Energy’s renewable gas trading portfolio
• Be responsible for the P&L of the portfolio
• Foster and expand relationships with both existing and potential clients and counterparties
• Develop trading strategies, both down- and upstream
• Continuously analyze market trends to facilitate informed trading decisions
• Assist customers in transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable alternatives
• Help structure solutions to meet environmental targets for clients
• Enhance MFT Energy's market presence and visibility

Your qualifications and personal skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience from a similar role, trading, sales, or other related areas
• Existing network within biomethane and/or renewable energy
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the will to take ownership
• Strong analytic skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to understand complex issues
• A positive and competitive attitude with a strong commercial mindset
  
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written. A third language besides Danish and English is a plus.
