Cloud Engineer - IMPACT

ABOUT THE JOB
As Cloud Engineer in IMPACT you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with various internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable cloud integration solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure services, cloud architecture, and software development, with a proven track record of successful integration projects.

These solutions are all based on modern architecture patterns and technologies. We have a great mentoring capability within the organisation that will allow you to upskill in new technologies that you might not be as confident in., and you will be working with our great clients such as Ganni, Imerco and more.

Your primary focus areas will be:

• Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Service Bus.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, formulate integration strategies, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure that integrations are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, including architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams in implementing integration patterns and best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest Azure features and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on current and future integration projects.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for integration solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, and ensure that coding standards and practices are followed.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Azure integration services, providing training and mentorship to other team members.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience working with cloud integration platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud integration patterns.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages relevant to Azure (e.g., C#, .NET, Java, Python).
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, as well as API design and management.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and an understanding of data storage and retrieval patterns in a cloud environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
