Information about collection of your personal data:
When completing the questionnaire, data is collected about your name, email, gender, CV and cover letter.

We collect and register the personal information you have given in this questionnaire. Thereafter, we will potentially collect and register additional information about your skills from references and social media in order to evaluate your competences and experience for the position in question. Subsequently, you may be asked to fill out a personality profile and/or a video as a part of the process. Based on this information, we will develop a profile which we register and store for a period of 6 months.

The purpose of the abovementioned processing of your personal data is to evaluate your qualifications in relation to the specific position at the company/organisation you have applied for, as well as in relation to any future vacancies.

The information you have given in the questionnaire may be subject to automated decision-making. The logic behind this decision will be based on objective criteria, which makes it possible to identify applicants with the desired qualifications.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent.

Your consent to the abovementioned processing can be withdrawn at any time with the result that the registration of your data is deleted. Withdrawing your consent can be done by contacting the person responsible for the recruitment process at the data controller.

Your personal data will be stored for a period of 6 months after which it will be deleted.

You have the right to at any time request information about your personal data, and to have it rectified or deleted. You also have the right to request a limitation of the processing or to object to the processing. This can be done by contacting the person who issues the questionnaire at the data controller.

You have the right to receive the personal data you have given in the questionnaire in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as long as an anonymisation of the data has not taken place.

It is voluntary to answer the questions in the questionnaire, but an omission to answer the questions will reduce the ability of the data controller to evaluate your competences in the presupposed way, which in turn may affect the assessment of your qualifications in relation to the position in question.

Product manage new and innovative outdoor play and fitness solutions
As our Product Manager for our Product Management team in Odense, you will have the chance to contribute to major changes impacting the entire business organization and help us to further improve product development.

You will identify new growth areas and opportunities for product innovation and solutions within existing and potentially new product lines based on deep commercial-, quantitative- and qualitative insights.

You will be responsible for selected KOMPAN product innovation pipelines including fitness, multisport and climbing product lines. Your main mission will be to manage the entire product development process through the stage gate process in collaboration with the Head of Product Management and other Product Management team members.

Further, your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Presenting project status to senior leadership, recommending further actions, and ensuring management approvals throughout the stage gate process.
• Gathering insights through customer interviews, close collaboration with KOMPAN market organizations, sales analyses etc.
• Collaborating with KOMPAN Fitness Institute (KFI) and KOMPAN Fitness Strategy Director to ensure product innovation is rooted on consumer insights and user benefits.
• Product conceptualizing into product development ideas based on insights and research from universities and KOMPAN Fitness Institute (KFI).
• Preparing sales tools and briefing the marketing communication team in collaboration with Fitness Strategy Director.
• Continuously tracking product performance; for revitalization, optimization and for pruning.
• Collecting, consolidating, and maintaining product data.

You will engage and cooperate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Hence, you will build relationships across the organization in order to improve product development.

Make a difference with your product management skills
You hold a degree in Business, Innovation, Engineering, Entrepreneurship or similar and have a minimum of 3 years of product management experience.

Preferably you currently work as a Product Manager or similar in a global company and have extensive knowledge and experience in driving product innovation projects and in stage gate management.

You are able to work in multifunctional teams consisting of designers, engineers, scientists, marketeers etc.

Further, you possess/are:

• Great English communication skills, both in spoken and written
• Solid presentation skills and are comfortable in presenting to senior management and business partners.
• A commercial mindset with excellent business analysis competences.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to come up with innovative ideas.
• Excellent in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
