For our Accounting team in Siemens Gamesa, we are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated out-of-the-box-thinking Treasury Accounting Controller that will bring in new knowledge to optimize and improve our processes. The position is new in accounting, and you will have great influence how to set up processes. In this position you will be part of a professional and dynamic team with a wide exposure across organizational levels and departments. The office is located in Vejle, Denmark and you will be reporting to the Head of Accounting.

How to contribute to our vision
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to gain great insight into the value chain and the organization of Siemens Gamesa, as well as gaining knowledge and expertise in various financial processes. In this role, you will manage all aspects of treasury accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and aiding the wider finance team with strategic financial analysis and insights. The Treasury Controller will take full accountability of all accounting, control, and documentation for Treasury accounting practices.

you will have different responsibilities; these will include monthly and quarterly closing activities:

  • Treasury accounting tasks
  • Coordination of quarterly audits with auditor
  • Month end and quarterly closing activities
  • Support the business with Treasury accounting topics
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulatory changes
  • Ad hoc analysis

What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.

In addition to this, you have a master’s degree in economics, Business Administration or Finance or similar. and have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field of Treasury, Financial Controller or Auditor as well as hands on experience working in SAP.

As a person, you are goal-oriented, structured, and a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills. You take ownership of your projects and are driven by a professional curiosity. You are used to and able to work in a fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines. Furthermore, you are an experienced user of Excel, SAP, PowerPoint or similar.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
