With direct reference to our Head of Platform & Technology, you will join 5 passionate colleagues, aiding the company in adopting and implementing a DevOps mindset, while treating the platform as a product for our Software and Hardware Developers. A job with focus on building our future cloud development platform
In the position as Platform Engineer, you will be part of developing and optimizing our GitLab SaaS platform, building the highway for great development experience through CI/CD capabilities, all based on DevOps Principles. You will also help explore and comprehend the ever-evolving landscape of modern technology within our field of work, all in all working to automate the entire build-to-release process.

More specifically your tasks will include:

• Supporting CI/CD golden paths through templating
• Navigating and implementing parts of the CNCF landscape
• Helping onboard products and services to the platform
• Maintaining the GitLab platform runners

Personality matters
We are looking for someone who is highly interested in software development methodology and who loves finding the right solutions and helping co-workers implement them. There are many entry points to this position, but we imagine that you have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, combined with some years of experience in a similar role, which has given you a deep toolbox and technical understanding within this field, as well as with coding. While you might have limited experience with the specific technologies we work with, you are experienced in how to interact and work together with an organization of diverse backgrounds, allowing you to succeed in creating solutions with others.

Experience with some of the following concepts is considered an advantage:

• Infrastructure as Code: preferably Terraform and Ansible
• Programming and scripting: Python, Go, Bash, PS, and .NET
• CI/CD: Automate release and deployment flows
• Building and running containers preferably in Kubernetes
• Monitoring/Observability: Azure Monitor or Prometheus/Tempo/Loki/Grafana

As a person you love to explore and learn new things along the way. Others characterize you as responsible, detail oriented, and structured. These characteristics allow you to solve problems effectively while considering different paths towards the solution. You are adept at building and maintaining relationships, and you enjoy connecting with your colleagues and stakeholders, both socially and professionally.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish is considered an advantage.
