Product Owner (Cloud Platform Team)

To lead our digital transformation journey, we are seeking a strong Product Owner for our cloud platform development team who will play a significant role in defining and executing our cloud product strategy.

Configit is on a transformational journey, evolving from a traditional license-based software company to a cutting-edge subscription-based SaaS vendor. We specialize in providing innovative software solutions for manufacturing companies dealing with complex products such as those from Jaguar Land Rover and Philips Healthcare. As a Microsoft partner, we leverage the power of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes for our cloud solutions.

What you will do:

• Drive the product vision for Configit’s SaaS offerings, engaging with key stakeholders and customers to identify opportunities and make informed product decisions.
• Work closely with product management, cloud operations, and product marketing to define and implement monetizable product features.
• Act as the primary liaison between the business and development teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding.
• Communicate the SaaS product vision effectively to development teams and cloud operations.
• Define the cloud architecture collaboratively with the development team, architects, and cloud operations.
• Participate in planning of program increments and sprints together with the team of developers, testers, and architects.
• Decide when to lead product discovery or to go directly into implementation.
• Define epics and user stories with a focus on cost-efficient resource usage, ease of deployment, and high scalability for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to refine potential solutions.
• Play a key role in prioritizing new features, customer change requests, and bugs in the team backlog.
• Team support and agile collaboration.
• Ownership of the team backlog, including prioritization of features ensuring quality and reducing technical debt.
• Act as a leader of the development team and ensure that they deliver maximum business outcome.
• Ensure alignment with Configit's product vision and strategic goals.

What you bring

• You have a technical and commercial profile with experience in driving SaaS solutions.
• You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Azure and cloud solutions, with a keen interest in staying updated on new cloud technologies.
• You have a systematic approach to software development and ideally have experience with SAFe/Scrum or similar agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Open-minded and strive for continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
