What You Will Do
As (Senior) Growth Manager, you will be responsible for helping to define the product roadmap and “growth hack” to drive sales and margin growth in Scandinavia and the DACH region. You will also support aligning sales and marketing activities with the Colourbox and Skyfish growth targets, ensuring effective lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.

As our new (Senior) Growth Manager, you will become a pivotal part of Colourbox, consisting of 30+ passionate professionals, and you will be an integral member of our international growth team, reporting directly to our CBDO.

We're seeking an innovative and data-driven individual with a keen focus on marketing, sales, and performance improvement. In this role, you will:

  • Your mission will be to implement and roll out the growth strategy with the goal of driving subscriber growth and engaging and retaining customers.
  • You are responsible for understanding customer, industry, and competitor trends/behaviors in Scandinavia and the DACH region (macro, external, internal) to identify growth opportunities.
  • You will conduct data analysis and qualitative research to determine user pain points and areas for improvement.
  • You own key stakeholder relationships and collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to optimize campaigns and funnel performance.
  • You will experiment with new and unconventional marketing strategies to enhance our digital footprint.
  • You will enjoy the support of a committed management team and a culture that values bold ideas and performance-driven results.
  • You will monitor KPIs and lead metrics to gauge progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • You will leverage feedback from customers and users to improve the product and customer experience, tailoring strategies to meet customer needs.

Your lead metrics will be conversion, CAC, CLTV, ARPU, MRR/ARR, and engagement levels.

You will be based in our offices in Odense, Denmark or Berlin, Germany, with the possibility of a flexible work-from-home arrangement.

What We Expect From You
To excel and share in our commitment to international growth, you should demonstrate the following attributes and qualifications:

Hard Skills

  • Digital Marketing and Sales Expertise: Deep knowledge in digital marketing techniques, sales strategies, and an understanding of the SaaS and e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Data Analytics Proficiency: Strong ability in dissecting data to inform strategic decisions, implementing precise conversion tracking mechanisms, and skillfully measuring and evaluating overall performance metrics, and you possess the core technical skills needed (or are otherwise a quick learner).
  • International Market Experience: Knowledge of global market dynamics, including cultural insights, market entry strategies, and compliance with international regulations.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with the latest technologies and platforms used in SaaS and e-commerce, along with SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Monetization Expertise: Well-versed in the intricacies of monetization, encompassing the design of pricing plans and optimizing funnel experiences.

Soft Skills

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You have a proven record of leading and performing projects independently and getting things done in a cross-functional organization. You will not always have direct control of all the resources, but you still get the job done.
  • Innovative Thinking: Creativity in identifying new opportunities for growth, and the willingness to experiment with new strategies and ideas.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: You know when to roll up your sleeves and perform things yourself – no matter if it's programming an email, pulling some queries, or quickly adjusting an image in Photoshop. We're looking for self-starters who want to get things done and don't wait for others to do the job.
  • Excellent Communication: Effective communication skills, crucial for coordinating efforts across teams and with external stakeholders, as well as for articulating growth strategies and results.

Your Profile

  • You have 4+ years of working experience with at least three years of relevant industry experience in an online consumer business (SaaS, e-commerce, online media, or a tech start-up).
  • You speak English and either German or Danish, and other languages are a plus.
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or a similar degree from a top-ranked school.
