Senior .NET Developer

For the past three years, we have been engaged in an ambitious digital transformation journey, continuing our customer centricity, and pivoting to a product driven enterprise with optimized IT services which are easy to access and use.

We are embarking on an exciting journey, seeking talented and motivated software developers to join our internal integration team. Additionally, we are in the process of establishing a new team in Poland, and this role will play a crucial part in shaping our expansion efforts.

We are searching for multiple members for the team. Beyond backend/integrations developer, we are looking for candidates with interest in the role of SCRUM master, solution architect or frontend developer.

The job
You will play a pivotal role in designing, creating, and maintaining integrations between systems. Your expertise bridges the gap between technical intricacies and practical solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you contribute to the development life cycle, ensuring efficient and reliable integrations that meet Blue Water needs. Your job tasks will include:

• Design and develop .NET applications.
• Integrate systems using RESTful APIs, FTP, and Message Queues.
• Manage version control and automate deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Your background

• Master's degree in an IT related field.
• .NET Development: Proficient in utilizing the .NET framework to build robust and customized applications that fulfil specific integration needs.
• Integration Technologies: Experienced in working with various integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, FTP, and Message Queues
• Version Control and DevOps: Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Azure Services and Platform Knowledge: Understand Azure’s services— Especially storage, Function App's, SQL, Key Vault, and Service Bus
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve integration issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of integrated systems.
• Collaborative Team Player: Effective communicator and team player, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative solutions, and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Practicalities

The primary location of this role is on-site at the office in Gdańsk.

Blue Water Shipping is headquartered in Esbjerg Denmark. IT development teams are in Esbjerg and Gdańsk. Location of this role will be placed in Gdańsk. You should expect 3-4 travels a year to the HQ in Esbjerg, Denmark.
