We are looking for an experienced Head of PMO to join our Technology Platform Management Team. You will be an integral part of Platform Management and at the same time would be in regular alignment with our Project Management colleagues in Finance, Business Controlling and Engineering. Given that most of our projects are international, you will be in close contact with colleagues from various parts of the world where we execute projects.
How to contribute to our vision
In your role Head of PMO you will be reporting to Head of Platform being part of the Platform Management Team.
You will be responsible for the Project Management Office in the highly leveraged platform centric operating model in the Product Development Platform and you will be assisting Head of Platform in preparing needed reports and budgeting cycles and conducting reviews.
In your everyday tasks you will work closely with Program Managers to enable planning and secure a high quality of the activities and you will:
- provide tools for resource and portfolio management
- develop project management competences within platform project managers
- manage the organization unit assigned: leading motivating and developing dedicated employees
- develop guidelines and define functional specific policies, processes or methods to fulfill the superior business strategy
- plan and allocate the resources and budgets to relevant projects or activities
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
- You have an engineering or business management academic degree
- You have minimum 10 years of experience in PMO organization in engineering companies, preferably in the wind industry
- You have a proven track record in project and program management and experience in different engineering and development projects
- You have experience in using Microsoft Project, SAP, Meister Plan, Jira
- Expected travel is approx. 60 days a year
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
