In this role, you will be located in our flagship office in Copenhagen and sit with the banking function which currently consists of 40+ skilled team members.

In this role, you will:

• Guide a team of compliance professionals, instilling a high-performance mindset and fostering professional growth.
• Steer the helm of compliance across all our operations, conducting the annual risk analysis and overseeing compliance activities.
• Serve as the linchpin for compliance matters related to credit, consumer protection, investment, marketing, product development, and governance.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Chief Risk Officer, ensuring seamless interaction between the business and second-line functions.
• Be the first point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead the implementation and management of avant-garde compliance technology solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in compliance management, driving progressive enhancements to our compliance program.
• Champion and nurture a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

What we need you to have:

• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record in motivating, mentoring, inspiring, and gaining the trust of team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, management, and colleagues across multiple locations
• Extensive experience in banking, particularly in compliance regulation, backed by a strong educational background in a relevant field
• A proactive individual with a growth mindset, ready to navigate the dynamic landscape of compliance within banking
• Solid regulatory understanding of banking requirements, demonstrating proven leadership within Compliance
