We are experiencing a high demand for our competencies within embedded solutions, and we are looking for an experienced embedded Electronic engineer to take part in our development projects working towards a sustainable future.

Working as a Electronic Engineer at DIS/CREADIS, you will experience a varied workday, where you will be involved in various development projects. As a consultant, you will be working from a DIS office, or on-site at the customer’s office, where you will be in close dialogue with customers across different industries. For this position, it is important that your mindset is wrapped around sustainability, and in the development process, you can take decisions based upon information that supports the agenda.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful candidate must have a background in embedded hardware and hold a relevant degree in Electronics Engineering, preferably with a focus on sustainability. You have experience within specification, design and construction, test, and documentation. Furthermore, your responsibilities cover:

• Focus on developing sustainable products in line with our commitment to sustainability.
• Consider the life cycle perspective of the components, resource use, sourcing, and end-of-life considerations.
• Keep up to date with the latest in sustainable technologies and practices and apply this knowledge to our work.
• Design and simulation of analog and digital circuits for mechatronic devices together with other areas, such as software or mechanics.
• Testing and verification, including environmental tests, ESD and EMC.

It would be an advantage if you are experienced or have knowledge within one or more of the following areas as well:

• Design of wireless technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the like.
• Design of power management, charging circuits and battery management
• Design of audio, video, medical, defense circuits
• Knowledge of EMC correct design and thermal design
• PCB layout
• Design of power electronics
• Advanced test, including special environmental, HALT and EMC tests.
• Have a solid understanding of sustainable engineering practices and technologies. This includes life cycle perspectives and knowledge about the aspects that determine the sustainability of components.
• Knowledge about Cyber Security, REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
