You will be part of a team of specialists within Engineering and Process Excellence in Vestas Power Solutions. The team is responsible for the deployment of functional quality initiatives, Parts and Material Standardization, Business Process Management, and developing continuous improvement initiatives to generate business value.

Based on market and customer needs, Vestas Power Solutions designs develops and delivers turbine, plant and hybrid power solutions. Vestas Power Solutions covers the full product lifetime.

We are taking the next step on the Engineering and Process journey and are ramping up the team with more engineering and process improvement capabilities.

You will be able to work in an exciting industry with a team of highly skilled colleagues and a diverse work culture. The team has huge interaction with stakeholders across Vestas Power Solutions and the value chain e.g., Sales, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service and Finance.

Responsibilities
You will as part of the team be responsible for defining and implementing an improvement roadmap and facilitating an increase of engineering and process performance maturity and capabilities within the organisation. The tasks you'll perform will be to improve efficiency and effectiveness and will include:

• Improve engineering and process performance monitoring and deploy it into the organisational governing structures in collaboration with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders.

• Analysis of engineering and process performance data.

• Define and plan improvement initiatives to improve engineering and process performance.

• Data-driven improvement of processes and engineering capabilities, driving efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with team members and relevant stakeholders.

• You will also plan and facilitate Kaizen events.

Qualifications
(KPIs) and associated process performance metrics (PPIs) monitoring the strategic priorities and key capabilities.

• Experience with continuous improvement tools e.g. problem-solving, LEAN, and deployment in different environments, preferably related to engineering and transactional capabilities.

• Professional written/verbal presentation and communication skills in English

Competencies
On a personal level, it is crucial, that you can play an essential role in establishing performance metrics to ensure data-driven improvement of core Engineering and process capabilities, ensure improvement of engineering and process performance, are a result-oriented team member and possess a strong influence and interpersonal skills.

• You have experience with performance management and have strong analytical skills.

• You have experience or certification in continuous improvement disciplines. You must have experience defining improvements based on Value Stream Mapping and Transactional Process Improvements in Product Development.

• You have experience with change management and solid implementation and facilitation skills.

• You are capable of planning and developing improvement initiatives based on data.

• You are focused on building great relationships to create impact & connect with our stakeholders.
