We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Citrix Senior consultant!

The Citrix Consultant role is to design, develop, monitor and operate the customers Citrix environments (networks, and applications). This may include architecting, configuring, installing, patching, upgrading, and maintaining the environment. You are responsible for the implementation and support of the Citrix products necessary for customers business operations.

Skills you need:

• Experience in rapidly changing enterprise environment.
  • Excellent problem resolution approaches and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to work flexible, independently as well as in a team
  • Experience in backward engineering to troubleshoot problems, excellent problem solving skills.

Our Requirements:
• Experience with Citrix environment: PVS, WEM, Studio (minimum 2 year of professional experience)
• Experience with system administration: GPO, Windows, Active Directory, MDT (minimum 2 year of professional experience)
• Proficiency in ITIL and other IT operations frameworks
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Danish and English

Operational skills:
• Manages clients Citrix system and its other technologies.
• Supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktop setup of the institution, which includes, the AppSense and XenDesktop, XenApp, and others.
• Help in organization and management of the business applications.
• Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system.
• Design and implement platform security.
• Taking part in upgrading and updating the system’s applications, installing it with up to date descriptions.
• Capable of applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• Executing helpdesk calls and classifying cases according to their priorities
• Manage performance and rectify any errors that occur within the Citrix service

Tech Skills you have:
• Plans, designs, and implements solutions for Citrix and other Windows based networked systems, including configurations; supporting/troubleshooting problems; coordinating installation of such items as Servers, Operating systems and applications.
• Solid Citrix network administration skills
• Experience in scripting incl. PowerShell
• Strong experience administration tools in Citrix environments
• A strong understanding of Active Directory and identity management systems
• Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and
Operating systems. Including but not limited to Active Directory and domain controller configuration and maintenance.
• Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations
• Interact with customers vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to resolve and troubleshoot system issues.
