Your key responsibilities
As Software Architect, you will set the technical direction of the project in one of our scrum teams. You will be the responsible for the technical quality of the system and in close collaboration with the Tech Lead break down requirements and requests into tangible design and tasks.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include:

  • Architect and describe new software designs.
  • Translate system requirements to requirements or user stories for software.
  • Lead software design discussions and design and code reviews.
  • Promote best practices for software development and assume a mentoring role in the team.
  • Identify and determine how to handle technical debt.
  • Design, document and implement features in our PLC’s.
  • Test and verify software in a simulated as well as real world electrolyser system.

The position offers a unique insight into a green technology company on a verge of global expansion. Your contribution to our department is essential for the scaling and commercialization of the company as the demands for software functions continues to grow. With GHS growing at high speed, we have a heightened focus on cross-functional communication and cooperation.

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in implementing software using architectural and behavioral design patterns. You experienced is characterized by working with complex software solutions with many interfaces and larger projects that required distributed networking, extensive data exchange and HMI frontends. You can develop high quality software in e.g. C, C++, C# or Structured Text and are a proficient git user. A history working with agile development and the ability to communicate/document software design in UML is essential.

On a personal level, you are a profound team player that can balance a variety of tasks and sometimes conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment. You acknowledge that we only succeed with projects with a sustained team effort, and you promote and walk-the-talk of this. You take ownership of your tasks, and you communicate clearly and delegate with obtainable goals.
