Norlys seeks experienced IT Solution Architects who will contribute to the green transition

Make a valuable contribution to innovative IT solutions
As a Solution Architect at Norlys, you will become a key figure in our efforts to develop modular and scalable solution architecture that can adapt to our changing business needs. You will play a key role in our portfolio of strategic programmes and projects, which is why your ability to match the wishes of the business with cost-effectiveness and standardisation requirements is essential.

We are looking for someone with just the right experience and mindset to start working in one or more areas across our technological platforms and disciplines. Within these areas, you will need to design a solution architecture that interacts with both new and existing technologies, adopt or describe the reference architecture in the solutions, ensure that the documentation is complete and cooperate closely with the Enterprise Architecture team. This is, of course, to ensure that we also look at the solutions and their applicability across the entire group.

Your future tasks:

• To design and implement a solution architecture that supports our commercial growth goals (where the goal is to create a digital, seamless universe for our customers and partners)
• To improve the management of and insights into customer contact, communication and involvement within Norlys’s MarTech stack (e.g. CRM, CDP etc.)
• To mature and develop the eMobility solution architecture (e.g. integration with ERP/CRM and other business-critical systems to ensure appropriate operations and, not least, better customer experiences)
• To elevate our overall maturity within our data domains and contribute strong insights into data modelling and quality, AI and Automation (e.g. contribute to a strong architectural design that can be adapted to the future requirements of our Data Space platform)

Strengthen the foundation of our dedicated architecture team
You’ll join the Enterprise Architecture team in ‘Architecture & Data’ – an IT division with more than 37 colleagues. Enterprise Architecture is a small, but ambitious four-man team who live and breathe making a real difference for our business. We want to be close to the project development process – which means that we usually sit closely with our stakeholders and play a role in various networks with specialists right across Norlys. We’re growing and are looking for an Enterprise Architect, and we have a clear execution strategy for our area.

Competences making a difference at Norlys
An understanding of and experience with modern IT architecture practices and principles is important. You probably also have experience working with DevOps in agile environments. You take a technology-agnostic approach, and understand the design and development of complex application architecture and system landscapes. You are capable of – and comfortable with – describing, drawing and presenting architectural and operational discussions and changes.

We envisage that you:

• hold a relevant MSc degree within data engineering, computer science or other technical IT area
• possess experience from a role as a solution architect, lead developer, technical project manager or similar have a solid technical understanding of solution, software and data architecture, ERP, AI/automation, networks and security
• possess experience with modern architecture principles and practices such as microservices, cloud solutions and API-led architecture (inspired by the MACH principles)
• are able to understand business goals and processes and have extensive experience at working with development teams (possibly in domain/product teams) and project managers
• possess experience with CX architecture, data and CDP solutions
• have a knowledge of and experience with architecture in self-service and eCommerce solutions; know-how from a subscription business would be a plus
• Finally, it’s crucial that you can communicate clearly and make technical solutions transparent
