As Norlys’s new Enterprise IT Architect, you will play an important role in developing a robust and scalable IT architecture. In your position as Enterprise Architect, you will contribute to implementing solutions within one of our key focus areas: eMobility. The aim is to strengthen our market position, support sustainable transformation and make digitalisation more accessible and coherent for our customers.

You’ll be part of an IT division which, over the coming years, will significantly strengthen our data and architecture capabilities and contribute to the success of our corporate goals. We want to become even more relevant for our colleagues in the business when (new) systems and digital services need to interact. And finally, we’re offering sound opportunities for professional and personal development.

The team is also looking for solution architects, as we will be landing in a number of complex and very wide-ranging projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring an overview of the existing architecture and driving improvement initiatives based on Norlys’s strategy and analysis of the IT landscape
• Preparing and taking responsibility for the target architecture and the path thereto, primarily within our Energy and Digital divisions
• Advising the business and facilitating the implementation of ‘emerging’ technologies such as IoT, Big Data, AI and 5G
• Driving our design and implementation of new solutions in the direction of a more modern software architecture (based on the MACH principles)
• Creating close ties between enterprise, solution and data architects across the group.

To succeed in the job, you should have experience from an enterprise architect position in a large organisation with business-critical IT, you enjoy challenges and you want to make a positive difference.

What are we looking for:

• A relevant educational background, for example an MSc degree in computer science, engineering or IT
• In-depth knowledge of the classic EA skills, e.g. strategy, roadmaps, governance and capability maps and, not least, the ability to transform this knowledge into visible value for your stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of new technologies, especially within data, cloud and mobility
• Strong analytical skills and broad experience from preparing decision-making proposals for management
• Good communication skills in both Danish and English
• Experience from the energy industry is a plus, but is not a requirement

You are solution and results-oriented, and you communicate clearly with colleagues both in-house in IT and on the business side.

You create solutions and communicate effectively across the organisation.
