At GAN Integrity we’re building a platform to help corporate ethics and compliance teams around the globe. The Integrity Platform allows companies to digitize and connect processes and organise data to manage external third-party risks and internal employee-related risks all in one place. Our highly configurable no-code workflow and application builder is extremely powerful and this flexibility comes with exciting design and user experience challenges.

At GAN we’re working in ways similar to the ‘Product Operating Model’ recently coined by SVPG. We strive to do continuous discovery and delivery in cross-functional teams where designers work together with product and engineering. We’re looking to add someone to our R&D leadership team with experience coaching and managing designers who are part of an empowered product team setup.

About the role:

Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of three product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles.
• Set clear goals and expectations for the team, and regularly evaluate their performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• You’re happy to be a player-coach and get hands-on when necessary.

Design Strategy and Direction

• Work with your team to develop and drive the overall design strategy for our Integrity Platform, aligning with business goals and user needs.
• An appreciation for the role of User Research is important. You will be comfortable with developing our user research capability.
• You have experience with building and maintaining design systems.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design processes and deliverables.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, primarily with product management, engineering and marketing, but also with the wider company.
• Effectively communicate design decisions, rationale, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Be able to showcase experience from a range of design projects
• Experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a growing startup - helping to shape and improve culture and ways of working in design, R&D and beyond.
