At Scada Minds they specialise in providing IT software consultancy services tailored specifically for the wind energy sector. With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, they aim to drive impactful solutions that propel their clients' success in the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving their company's growth trajectory.

Your responsibilities include:
- Sustaining annual growth of 15-20%, guiding the transition from a start-up to a scale-up phase.

- Drive profitability and maximise billable hours through active involvement in project delivery initiatives.

- Shifting the sales approach from project-based to solution-based, prioritising relationship building and repeat sales.

- Collaborating with current clients and partners to develop intellectual property (IP) that advances their offerings.

- Cultivating strategic partnerships internally and externally, focusing on data streams, integrations, and analytics (including Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Warehousing).

- Implementing marketing campaigns, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn to amplify Scada Mind’s presence in the absence of a dedicated commercial specialist.

- Overseeing and optimising external partners' contributions in web development, print, etc., to ensure alignment, quality, and efficiency.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a candidate who embodies ambition, technical prowess, and commercial acumen.

The ideal candidate possesses:
- A demonstrated ambition to grow into the CSO role and lead the company to new heights.
- A strong background in technical sales, software development/architecture, and consultancy.
- Experience in both technical and commercial domains, with a proven ability to collaborate and solve problems.
- Integrated resourcefulness to navigate the company's culture, organisation, and engage closely with clients.
- Familiarity with marketing collaboration, particularly in campaign management, events, and LinkedIn engagement.

Key Tasks:
Your key tasks will include:
- Identifying and understanding various customer segments within the wind energy sector.
- Drive profitability and maximise billable hours through active involvement in project delivery initiatives.
- Developing compelling value propositions tailored to specific customer needs.
- Conducting market analysis to inform strategic decision-making and enhance Scada Mind’s competitive edge.
- Establishing and enhancing our commercial infrastructure to support sustainable growth.
- Collaborating with external marketers to execute effective marketing strategies.
