Planning Specialist, S&OP

S&OP is our central planning process in Bestseller and a key element to drive a healthy business across brands and logistics. Making timely and fact-based planning decision is a paramount goal in our supply chain, and as Planning Specialist, S&OP you are responsible for ensuring this.

In BESTSELLER, S&OP is our tactical planning process, representing brands and logistics. The process seeks to drive supply chain excellence ensuring that demands are met, with focus on efficiency through the supply chain. We are looking for a candidate who can facilitate the S&OP process and continuously improve our planning ability through S&OP.

AN ENVIRONMENT BUILT ON AMBITION
You will be joining our S&OP team within Strategic Planning & -Optimization. Our main objective is to ensure that the logistics operations comply with BESTSELLER’s growth. In the S&OP team, you will facilitate the tactical planning of logistics capacity and efficient network utilization on a 12-month running horizon.

In this central role, your responsibilities are:

• Drive and further develop the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring that capacity gaps and opportunities are captured in that horizon and can be acted upon
• Prepare the material for the S&OP process
• Facilitate the monthly balance meeting with logistics operations
• Identify and explore most efficient operations scenarios
• Drive improvement projects on network utilization
• Determine best practices for operation to share across the organization
• Ensure the setup of an action-oriented inventory analysis that drives a “healthy inventory”

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Experience from a similar position and solid experience in supply chain planning
• Experience, preferably in retail, fashion or an industry with complex logistics operations
• Strong English skills, written and spoken

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The primary work location will be from our distribution center in Haderslev, but it is expected that you can be present at our offices in Aarhus or Brande occasionally.
