We are looking for a motivated and competent Customs Coordinator for the Export Control & Customs team in Brande, Denmark. The Export Control & Customs department is overall responsible for compliance in regard to export controls and customs rules and regulations when importing and exporting goods and technology. We are involved in all steps from design, over selling and manufacturing through to the dispatch of the finished wind turbines.

How to contribute to our vision
As a Customs Coordinator you will be part of a highly motivated customs team, and you will to a great extent be working with the operational handling of customs clearances (import/export) as well as handling an Inward Processing Regime. In addition, you will also have different administrative tasks, including:

  • Implementing customs processes as well as conducting sample checks in the business and following up on these
  • Supporting the business by answering customs related questions both internally as well as from suppliers/freight forwarders etc.
  • Following up on the closure of export declarations with the Freight Forwarders
  • Maintaining and ensuring documentation of all operational tasks

What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

  • You have a background with administrative tasks and is thorough with the data that you handle.
  • You could have worked as a Customs Broker, worked in logistics, freight forwarding or similar and have preferably specialized in international trade and transport, but this is not an absolute requirement as you will be trained in the tasks that you will be doing.
  • You have a Customs Diploma or the willingness to educate yourself to get it as this will be a future requirement in the EU customs legislation.
  • As a person you are forthcoming, positive and proactive, and you are good at multitasking and understand the importance of meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
  • You possess strong coordination and communication skills and are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, and you are open to changes.
  • Furthermore, you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, and preferably of SAP.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Next to it is and advantage to know Danish as some of the communication with Danish authorities is only in Danish.
