You will play an important role in: As Functional Team Coordinator for Direct Procurement you:

Will focus on leading and coaching a team of 8-10 team members, building and maintaining strong relations to our key suppliers all over the world. You possess a strong analytical mindset and are a skilled negotiator when it comes to landing the right deal. However, you also have a technical and operational mindset making you able to transform strategies and ideas into concrete actions and are able to support the organization in making the right business decisions.

• You will be functional responsible for strategic and operational topics, as well as the first escalation authority internally/externally within the assigned product group segment
• Develop and implement category strategies, together with the team members supporting the targets of the overall procurement strategy
• Carry out market and supplier analysis together with internal stakeholders Implementing dedicated saving projects and striving for total cost reduction (TCO)
• Identifying supplier opportunities, risks and costs connected to the sourcing process
• Participate in and possibly leading cross-functional projects together with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain
• Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives, safeguarding effective work processes and methodologies

We imagine that you: We envision someone who can effectively lead and motivate others to achieve goals, whether independently or as part of a team. You should be driven by results and possess strong project management skills, capable of managing stakeholders effectively. Fluency in English is required, with Danish proficiency considered a bonus. As an experienced Buyer with a strategic mindset, you should excel in execution and meeting deadlines, backed by at least 3 years of experience in strategic procurement and relevant commercial education.

Additionally, having a technical understanding of the industry, familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, are essential. Occasional travel, about 20-25 days a year, is expected, and prior knowledge of Supply Chain functions is advantageous.
