About the role
We are looking for a department manager to head our Process Utility department in Virum, with additional employees in Kalundborg. We have 39 committed engineers for you to support and guide in the journey of building the world’s largest and most advanced pharmaceutical facilities.

In these facilities our Process Utility department is responsible for all utility equipment, including clean utility, black utility, clean in place (CIP), and process waste. We are involved in all project phases from the initial conceptual stages all the way to hand-over (design, construction, test, installation, commissioning, and qualification).

How you might spend your days
As department manager you'll:

• Manage and lead your team of appr. 39 employees within the department across Virum and Kalundborg
  as well as acting as mentor and coach for the team members.
  
• Balance capacity in relation to project demand.
  
• Support the excellent collaboration with our colleagues in Bangalore, India.
  
• Work in close partnership with the management team in Active Products and Finished Products.
  
• Develop and grow the team to be able to support our project pipeline.
  
• Direct strategic initiatives in the department that are linked to the overall NNE strategy.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• You have a degree in engineering preferably within chemistry, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical production.
  
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in people management e.g., as team leader, department manager or project manager
  
• You speak and write Danish and English fluently.
