Finance Assistant( Accounts Payable)- Maersk Air Cargo

Maersk Air Cargo was founded in 1987 and is 100% owned by A.P. Møller-Maersk, under the name Star Air A/S. For decades, the company has supported UPS on their intra-European parcel network. Their business is growing and is an integral part of the A.P. Møller-Maersk Air flight product. They perform "Own Controlled Flights" within Maersk. The future expansion plan includes operating 22 Boeing 767s, a Gulf stream G600 for commercial use and the introduction of two brand new Boeing 777s in 2024.

You will be part of a team where the focus is on development and task fulfilment, but with room to have fun together. They have an informal and relaxed environment and strive to be the best. You will be based in Lyngby, in a bright and open office space, and you will report to the Accounting Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Register incoming invoices in Continia
• Maintain Vendor Cards in Navision
• Process payments for invoices and personal expenses
• Monitor and respond to invoice emails daily
• Conduct weekly bank reconciliations
• Ensure all invoices are approved according to the 4 eyes principle
• Communicate with vendors regarding accounts payable
• Reconcile balances in various systems
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update processes for Accounts Payable
• Create and update customer accounts in Navision

What are we looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Navision and Continia
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of banking procedures and reconciliation processes
• Fluent in danish
