Join us as our new Sourcing Project Manager
Novonesis is looking for a Sourcing Project Manager to join the Indirect Procurement team. The Indirect Procurement department serve a pivotal role, leading strategic sourcing engagements across a wide range of business units enabling a cost efficient, sustainable and value adding approach to the procurement and contracting of products and services for Novonesis.

This is a challenging and exciting role where close partnerships with our internal stakeholders and suppliers are key to make a sustainable impact and manage the company resources efficiently.

In Indirect Procurement you will be part of a global procurement organization with highly professional, explorative and collaborative colleagues. As a team, we “together” deliver an impact on Novonesis operations for the better of our company, our customers and the world. We are a dedicated, diverse and thriving team with strong experience in running strategic sourcing projects, negotiating high profile contracts and driving the change in the organization.

You will be based in Bagsværd, but will have a close interaction with stakeholders at our site in Lyngby, Hørsholm etc. (Copenhagen).

In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

• Leading and supporting small, medium and large projects with a focus on savings, contract coverage, digitalization, and sustainability together with your colleagues in the Indirect Procurement team and key stakeholders across the company. For example, run tenders in our eSourcing platform, drive the sustainability initiatives, further explore digitalization across processes.
• Collaborating with key business stakeholders, team colleagues and finance responsible to identify and drive improvements and savings through sourcing-related projects.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and together with internal stakeholders align on initiatives focusing on optimizing Total Cost of Ownerships, sustainability and more.
• Generating new ideas and opportunities to ensure a continued project pipeline by analyzing spend and contract data, collaborating with stakeholders across Novonesis, and engaging with suppliers.
• Developing sourcing strategies together with Global Category Managers aligning these to the overall objectives of the business.
• Communicating the Global Purchasing Policy and engaging the organization to assure continued realization of the benefits achieved through your project activities.
• Implementing new process and contracts and conducting relevant change management activities, to ensure your results are anchored in the organization.
• Reporting and following-up on results and performance of your implemented projects to ensure benefits are realized.
• Participating in business review meetings with key suppliers to identify potential future improvement initiatives.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have a relevant master’s degree within business administration, engineering, supply chain, economics and/or sourcing.
• Have 1-5 years’ experience of working with projects from consulting, within sourcing processes or similar.
• Can work effortlessly in both written and spoken English, in a global organization.
• Are a team player with a high drive to create great results and atmosphere together with your colleagues.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, and experience with stakeholder management across functions and cultures.
• Enjoy working with quantitative data to generate ideas, develop business cases and validate opportunities.
• Are structured and self-motivated and dare to take the lead.
• Communicate clear and concise, and you are not afraid of facilitating meetings, making recommendations, and presenting for senior management.

Furthermore, we expect you to be curios and solution oriented, and have explorative and solution-oriented mindset.
