Network Operations Consultant for dedicated customer

We are looking for a new colleague to our Network team based in CZ.

The team is part of Global operations, responsible for keeping stable environment with customer‘s business-critical infrastructure and demands highest quality from their IT solutions. Aeven has a total of approximately 40+ network specialists allocated in Denmark, Prague and the Philippines.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with users, other engineers, and other service lines in troubleshooting and resolving network issues related to WAN, LAN, WLAN, ISE, DNA-C, Security and VPN
• Take ownership of tickets coming from solarwinds and users until resolution
• Assist L1 in handling critical and major incidents
• Plan, create, and implement changes to resolve certain network issues, IOS upgrade activities, certificate renewals, etc
• Participate in problem investigations: root cause analysis and prevention determination
• Participate in Continuous Improvements initiatives and provide insights to better improve operational processes
• Document guides, work instructions and SOP’s concerning network operations
• Collaborate with Network Projects team in some mini projects
• Work with vendors like Cisco and Palo Alto in resolving complex issues
• Chance to participate in SDWAN migration projects
• Provide insights and ideas in automating network processes
• As senior engineer to conduct Skill transfer/training sessions.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge and experience in SDA (DNA-C)
• Advance knowledge and experience in routing and switching
• Advance knowledge and experience in WLAN infra
• Advance knowledge and experience in WAN technologies
• Advance knowledge and experience in SDWAN (Viptela, Meraki, etc)
• Knowledge and experience in Cisco ISE
• Knowledge and experience in Network Security (Cisco ASA, Firepower and Palo Alto)
• Knowledge and experience working with VPN (site to site, DMVPN)
• Experince working with Solarwinds
• Experience working with ServiceNow
• (Nice to have) Automation or any scripting knowledge and experience
