Payments Business Analyst

We are looking for a talented Payments Business Analyst with a can-do attitude to join our Client Channel Execution team. The team is responsible for the development of Banking Circle's client channels, including the API and UI. As a Payments Business Analyst, you will work within an agile team environment, focusing on the continuous improvement and development of our payment solutions.

About the role
To help us achieve our ambitious targets, we are looking to hire a Payments Business Analyst to support the development of our payment solutions and technical platform. You will join our Client Channel Execution team and will report to the Head of Client Channel Execution.

In this role, you will help ensure that Banking Circle continues to deliver efficient, hassle-free self-service solutions within the payment product landscape to Banks and Fintechs all over the world. On a daily basis, you will work with the Payments Product Owner and developers, based in Copenhagen, as well as collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders in the Commercial department, Operations and Client Services, who are all based in London, for different solutions across the business to ensure end-to-end delivery of new functionalities.

What you will be doing

• Work with the Product Owner and development team to gather requirements, analyze business needs, write user stories, and contribute to the design and implementation of payment solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from Commercial, Operations, and Client Services departments to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write technical and client-facing documentation to ensure clear communication and understanding among stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to enhance client experiences and drive business growth.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement and optimization of our client channels to improve performance, usability, and stability.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the payments or financial services industry. You should have a good understanding of payment systems, including knowledge of APIs, payment processing, and banking operations. A relevant educational degree is required, preferably within Business, Finance, Computer Science, or another related field.

You have experience working in agile development environments and have the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams where you can prioritize tasks effectively. You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You should also have attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

As Banking Circle is an international company it is a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
