Product Owner, UX/UI

We are looking for a driven and visionary Product Owner with a can-do attitude to join our Client Channel Execution team and be responsible for the development of our online banking portal (UI) and deliver an exceptional User Experience.

About the role
To help us achieve our ambitious targets, we are looking to hire a Product Owner to drive the development of our online banking platform (UI), which is foundational for our clients to interact with and utilize our product offering. You will join our Client Channel Execution team and will report to the Head of Client Channel Execution.

In this role, you will own and prioritize the UI backlog across all product streams and be responsible for the functionality and work-flows of Banking Circle’s online banking platform. You will work closely with UX designers and front-end developers, collaborate with various internal stakeholders in the Commercial department, Operations and Client Services as well as product owners and business analysts for different solutions across the business to ensure end-to-end delivery of new functionalities.

What you will be doing

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, conveying product vision and requirements effectively.
• Define and prioritize user stories, epics, and product backlog items based on business value and user needs.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing UX and UI journeys.
• Conduct user research and analysis to gather insights and make data-driven product decisions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely and accurate implementation of features and enhancements.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, gathering feedback and iterating on improvements.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar role) or as a Senior UX Designer, preferably within the banking or fintech industry. Furthermore, you have a relevant educational background within Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or another related field.

You should be comfortable working within an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional UX and UI solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be execution-minded, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a deep understanding of UX design methods and possess proficiency in tools such as Figma. You should have good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts, and have an analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
As Banking Circle is an international company it is a requirement that you are fluent in English.
