Manager of Strategic Investments, GN Group

As our new Manager, you will play an instrumental role supporting GN Hearing’s overall strategy and drive growth by investing equity or issuing loans to a wide global network of hearing aid dispensers in exchange for supply commitments.

Lead growth by executing investments in hearing aid space
On a day-to-day basis, you will be in contact with colleagues from across our business, locally and internationally – Business Development, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, M&A as well as our Commercial Sales teams and Executive Management. You will play a key role in optimizing our framework for investments as well as communicating and aligning best practices across the business.

Your contribution is appreciated, and your responsibility will include:

• Analyze and assess investment opportunities into hearing aid retailers or wholesalers globally
• Participate in planning and structuring of new investments
• Act as advisor and project manager to our local commercial teams on investment cases and present your findings and make your recommendation to management
• Design and monitor automated follow-ups on investment portfolio to track performance and returns on investment
• Ensure alignment across all departments

As this is a global function with a lot of activities in e.g. the US, international travel will be an opportunity. Equally, the role could provide an opportunity to do an overseas secondment.

We are looking for a team member who enjoys taking ownership and driving projects, has a passion for numbers, due diligence and especially people and thrive in an ambitious environment with great colleagues.

• You have some years of experience, preferably from a position in M&A, Transaction Services, or as Finance Partner in an investment environment, or similar
• You hold a master’s degree in finance or economics
• You pay attention to details, and take pride in delivering high quality work
• You enjoy responsibility and work independently
• You have strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills
• You speak and write English fluently
