We are looking for a Medical Expert Radiology with a strong capability to work in cross-functional teams, providing professional expertise in the areas of Radiology Medical Affairs. The position will be placed in Sweden preferably (Stockholm area) or any of our other sites in Denmark or Norway.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide medical expertise on scientific issues in Radiology Medical Affairs with focus on medical devices.
  • Support and execute the medical and scientific strategy of the radiology product portfolio, mainly medical devices and digital solutions, in line with the regional strategy.
  • Exchange and Dissemination of scientific, education and research related information prepared by global and/or regional.
  • Evaluation and preparation of current medical-scientific information from the literature. Independent development, interpretation and communication of scientific issues directly to customers.
  • Implement local Medical Affairs Activities across the whole Radiology Portfolio incl. TL Engagement and Medical Education Events
  • Co-Creation of local commercial projects/material and Co-Organization of locally organized congresses
  • Strategic thought leader activities planning and implementation, including interactions at national symposia/congresses and conducting advisory boards as well as regular customer visits.
  • Preparation of training for the commercial colleagues in the Nordics cluster
  • Drafting and editing medical affairs contributions to drug-related documents for radiology.
  • Medical review of communication documents related to radiology in the Nordic cluster i.e. responsible for approval and certification
  • Interdepartmental cooperation, e.g. with Marketing, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Assurance of compliance with laws, Pharmacodex and local Bayer regulations, SOPs, and OIs

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Scientist with university degree, preferably with Medical device training
  • Professional experience in an international pharmaceutical or medtech company preferable
  • Strong and fluent (English) written and verbal communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in any Scandinavian language, both written and verbal.
  • Result-oriented, as well as independent and self-reliant way of working
  • High ability to build networks
  • Leader with strong skills and high motivation as well as experience if effectively managing risk and compliance issues
  • Capability to effectively work in cross-functional teams and entering into co creation with internal and external partners and Thought Leaders
