We are now looking for a Site Lead to join our team, as Esbjerg port helping us to successful execute our Offshore Site Installation Projects

How to contribute to our vision
In the Port of Esbjerg, the team working with aligning all the Port operation under a governance role applicable for all in the SGRE organization.

You will work as the Site Lead to the current Port & Operation Manager and have responsibility for site operations, supporting Sales & Tender and ensure the port is utilised at all times. The Site Lead will support the Port Operations Manager with overall EHS governance for their respective Ports.

There will be a requirement to manage general site duties within the Port, including any extended storage space in the Esbjerg Port area.

You will the person appointed to represent Siemens Gamesa, exclusively, monitoring, recording, contact managing suppliers, Lead the storage & planning and advising of concerns; particularly relating to Safety.

As the Site Lead your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Supports our global based port teams.

  • Proactively develops / improves team, function and its interfaces to key stakeholders
  • Identify the needs for skilled personnel to meet business project needs
  • Support the development of KPIs and targets to support company strategy
  • Report to the POM improvement/risk portfolio topics ensuring they are identified in due time to mitigate business impact
  • Support Team, Sales & Projects to ensure Quality, Cost and Schedule targets are achieved
  • Lead by the example of being goal focused, result driven and motivated to continuously improve the business
  • Delivers to agreed scope, budget and schedules
  • Keep the correct flow of component & overview of the storage situation
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Planner in DK and the global Supply Chain Coordinators
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports relating to storage status and movement
  • Utilize computer systems to enter orders, track orders, check inventory, and problem solve
  • Ensuring relevant information is obtained and utilised correctly
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution
  • Document/record information and maintaining information in written or electronic form

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are looking for candidates with both a maritime and electrical background. Previous work experience with workplace environment would be beneficial.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, an academical background would be advantageous but not a requirement for the role
  • Good at active listening, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate
  • Is great at using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Excellent at building repour and networks both with port authorities and stakeholders
  • Neat appearance and pleasant phone manner is also required
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office package

In addition, knowledge of SAP and a familiarity with mathematical calculations would be highly beneficial

As you will be working with local authorities and must keep up to date with new regulations fluency in Danish is mandatory for this position.
