Fullstack Developer

You will be joining the Tech Logistics Development team to help us build great products and contribute to the continuous development and optimization of our Logistics and Supply Chain solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
We are replacing our legacy ERP system, and we are looking for a colleague, who is genuinely excited by the opportunity to be the key in designing and building digital products that will be used every day to ensure the flow of goods to all of BESTSELLERs customers. You will collaborate with the team in balancing and supporting demands from our business, understanding, and challenging complex processes, and introducing modern technology and new ways of working.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Delivering workable solutions to the business by translating software requirements into high code standards
• Ensuring proper maintenance and development of programs
• Writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and sometimes supporting applications using programming languages and development tools
• Documentation of coding practice.

YOUR TEAM
You will join a Scrum team of highly skilled colleagues who are always in search of new ways of creating value, while continually improving our existing solutions. The team consists of a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, Analysts and Developers. We own BESTSELLER’s TECH solutions for Logistics.

YOUR PROFILE
A great attitude and a willingness to learn can take you far in BESTSELLER TECH. We recognize that technology is constantly evolving, and we're looking for a Backend Developer who is not only grounded in certain technologies, but would also enjoy learning and tackling new challenges. However, we are looking for the following specific qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• A proven track record in backend application development.
• Strong experience with relational databases.
• The ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic work environment.

OUR TECH STACK

• Backend services are crafted using Spring Boot. We strive to stay updated with the latest versions of JDK and Spring Boot, currently running JDK 21 and Spring Boot 3.2.2.
• Code collaboration and version control through GitHub.
• Continuous integration and delivery with CircleCI.
• Deployment management with Kubernetes, hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Service communication primarily via Kafka, with RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, and REST APIs for external system integrations.
• Front-end development in React with TypeScript, utilizing GraphQL for UI-backend communication.

We harness the power of IntelliJ IDEA for development, enhanced with Copilot for real-time code suggestions and chat, which helps to streamline our coding processes and boost productivity.

While your primary role will focus on backend development, familiarity with any of the above technologies will be advantageous.
