Danish Crown

DNK-Randers, Danish Crown Vej

Student worker, Group Finance
Do you want to make a real impact in a large international company where business is never as usual? Are you currently pursuing a higher education within finance, auditing, management accounting or similar? Do you find finance, accounting, and data interesting, and do you want to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-life context? Then you are maybe our new student worker in Group Finance located at our headquarters in Randers, Denmark.

You will be stepping into a team of 8 colleagues who are working closely together to deliver solid financial analysis for, among others, the Danish Crown Group Executive Management to support their decision-making processes. In Group Finance we work closely together with other group function teams e.g., Treasury, Strategy, and Sustainability.

In Group Finance, our responsibilities range from reviewing reported figures to compliance assignments. We furthermore support the business and other group functions in the monthly as well as yearly reporting.

Work tasks and responsibilities
As our new student worker, you will become experienced within a variety of tasks:
• being responsible for periodic reports and analysis tasks
• support your colleagues in the Group Finance team by solving ad-hoc tasks related to the internal and external reporting and controlling across the Danish Crown Group
• assist in the ownership and maintenance of our consolidation tool (SAP BPC)
• assist the Group Finance team with reports, analysis, and data processing.

We offer a job with great variation where you will work in teams and independently - both cross-border, cross-functional and among different business segments in the different tasks. This will provide you with both insights and experience of being an employee in a large international business. For the right candidate, you will achieve a high degree of responsibility and plenty of opportunities.
We expect that you can work around 12-15 hours per week and preferably two full days per week. We offer flexibility during examination periods. Your primary work location will be at our headquarters in Randers.

We expect you to be familiar with Microsoft Office and an experienced user in Excel. If you are experienced within SAP BPC and/or Power BI/Power Query, it could be an advantage, but this is not a must. You communicate fluently in English - both orally and in writing.

You have strong analytical skills; you work systematically, and you take pride in delivering positive and satisfactory results. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and the opportunity of gaining new knowledge and becoming more proficient motivates you.
