Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you! We are currently looking for enthusiastic and curious Analysts to join our Green Credit Fund Investment Team in Copenhagen.

About the team and the position
The Green Credit Funds (GCF) target subordinated credit investments with a risk-return position between equity and senior debt. The fund invests in tailor-made debt solutions across a variety of assets, including on/offshore wind, solar PV, waste-to-energy, PtX, and advanced biofuels. CI GCF I is CIP’s first fund exclusively focused on credit investments. You will work closely together with a highly experienced team, based in Copenhagen, London, and New York, in a high-pace dynamic and truly global environment. As an Analyst in the GCF Investment Team you will contribute to the transaction processes, including the sourcing/origination, structuring, and execution of CIP’s credit investments globally as well as preparing for investment decisions and various other investment team tasks. You will work closely together with our highly experienced investment teams in an international and collaborative environment. We will constantly seek to inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. Working with our skilled team members, the right candidate will build a solid commercial and contractual understanding of renewable energy infrastructure projects and how they are financed. Furthermore, top-performing Analysts may receive an offer to join us as a full-time Associate upon graduation.

Key work areas

  • Screening, market analysis, and due diligence of new credit investment opportunities
  • Preparation of Investment Committee materials
  • Financial modelling of large complex infrastructure assets including valuation, project finance, and structuring of investments
  • Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc analyses in close cooperation with other investment team members, e.g., on hedging strategies, currency swaps, etc.

The position is part-time and based in central Copenhagen. The workload will vary depending on the numbers of projects you are working on, and you will be given the opportunity to influence your daily routine and schedule.
