Digital Portfolio Consultant

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll analyse IT costs and provide clear insights in this regard. Your main task will be to analyse large amounts of data to make information transparent. Together with your team, you'll facilitate decision-making processes for business stakeholders and senior IT management to prioritise and fund strategic digital initiatives to meet business needs. You'll also be involved in managing the allocation of IT resources.

Welcome to Digital Transformation
You’ll be part of Portfolio Analysists where you, together with your colleagues, will work with IT and business colleagues, and through insight into budgets and funding, create the necessary transparency to support our digital maturation. We’re part of a bigger team with colleagues who possess skills, such as digital partnering, management consulting, and financial analysis. We’re split into smaller team areas of expertise and collaborate both within the team and with colleagues outside the team. As a team, we work in a global matrix organisation where you’ll collaborate with IT, business colleagues and senior management team globally. As a team we believe in sharing knowledge and learnings, we celebrate successes and grow from challenges, and we are open to untraditional suggestions to mitigate the roadblocks in a global organisation. We believe in a sustainable work life and professional friendships.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • creating transparency into cost trends in IT to better predict future cost schemes
  • rethinking the current cost driver setup to further strengthen the reporting output
  • maintaining and updating a set of financial data that accurately reflects the status and changes in demand placed on the IT organisation
  • supporting development of new processes for managing changes to the IT budget and ensuring that they are implemented effectively within the IT organisation
  • supporting your colleagues in ad-hoc data analysis tasks.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have moderate experience with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information systems, business administration, economics, or similar
  • have a strong understanding of financial modelling and lean and agile principles
  • maintain clarity and insight when dealing with large datasets, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the information contained within
  • demonstrate the ability to challenge ideas while knowing when to listen and when to contribute
  • enjoy communicating with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and have a good command of English, as well as a proactive and systematic approach to work
  • thrive in a role that combines exploratory tasks with the management of existing achievements, have an outgoing, supportive, and progressive attitude.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
