Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll collaborate with several organisational levels in the business as well as in IT. Via insights into the business, you’ll facilitate necessary processes, coordinate relevant collaboration, and ensure the best possible stakeholder management to enable our business to determine, prioritise, decide, and execute the right digital initiatives that are necessary to meet the business strategy.

Welcome to Digital Transformation
You’ll be part of Digital Consultants team where you, together with your colleagues, will prepare, drive, and anchor financial and digital decisions with the relevant business and IT entities. You’ll be hired into our Malaysian IT team but anchored with a global IT team primarily located in Europe. Together, we cover the entire organisation, and our aim is to nurture further digital capabilities with our business colleagues. We work in a global matrix organisation where you’ll collaborate with IT, business colleagues and senior management team globally. As a team we believe in sharing knowledge and learnings, we celebrate successes and grow from challenges. We’re open to untraditional suggestions to mitigate the roadblocks in a global organisation and believe in a sustainable work life and professional friendships.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • collaborating with business colleagues by using our common toolbox to develop digital roadmaps, helping them prioritise and execute relevant initiatives
  • managing digital roadmaps in a structured environment enabling our decision entities to allocate funding, prioritise business needs, and follow up on value potentials
  • effectively communicating and presenting findings and outcomes to management and stakeholders in a structured and clear manner, enabling decision boards to track value potentials and funding
  • collaborating with IT enabler teams to translate business directives and objectives outlined in digital roadmaps into actionable plans for execution and delivery
  • co-facilitating regular governance processes, e.g., the annual financial forecasting process.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have moderate experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information systems, business administration or management, or cultural studies
  • preferably hold advanced degree or certifications focused on cross-cultural communication or diversity management
  • demonstrate an outgoing, supportive, and progressive attitude and enjoy communicating with stakeholders at various organizational levels, with proficient English language skills, alongside a proactive and systematic approach to work.
  • demonstrate an analytical mindset with robust problem-solving abilities, adept at generating and presenting structured, actionable insights supported by data analysis for informed decision-making
  • demonstrate the ability to challenge ideas while knowing when to listen and when to contribute and utilise stakeholder management skills to nurture professional relationships
  • understand IT and the challenges emerging when business needs meet IT deliverables.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
