Would you like to focus on modern technologies to reduce manual work and increase the quality of LEGO Digital Assets?
We are looking for a Director to join our growing team based in Copenhagen to help support our teams building the Product Delivery Technology.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead competency group of Software Engineers
  • Responsible for the technical delivery of our next level Digital Asset Creation and Management capabilities spanning across products and partners groups
  • Create an engineering culture that is characterized by superior engineering practices
  • Drive technical excellence and DevSecOps culture and approach
  • Mentor and coach Software Engineering & Architecture
  • Drive the Digital Transformation
  • Attract diversity and talent

Product Delivery Technology is a crucial component of the Consumer and Creator Technology organization within Digital Technology. Our department is dedicated to the creation of innovative digital products, spanning digital element design, digital building experiences, workflow management and digital content distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Commercial experience in leading software engineers
  • Professional experience in software development and a deep understanding of technology
  • Proven track record in driving complex software development and deployment programs across organizational boundaries with an agile operating model
  • Demonstrable ability to influence peers and influencing partners proactively
  • Experience in Digital Asset Creation and Management
  • Hands-on experience in leading and defining modern software solution architectures using modern architecture design patterns and technologies
  • Proven track record in developing engineers to growth

Nice to have experience with:

  • At least one modern programming language, like C#, Typescript, etc
  • Proficient in technology stacks and architectural patterns like event driven architectures and microservices
  • Domain driven design
  • Leading product teams in developing and operating cloud based software solutions
  • Vendor management, RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes
