Direct Manager: Production Manager in Poland

Dotted Line Manager: Technical Manager in Finland

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New Product Introduction (NPI): preparing new product for production start-up and prototyping.
• Supervise technological aspects of prototyping (implementation of new products).
• Calculating the technical cost of product production.
• Acting as a technical partner for the customer: provide consultation on component selection and production cost optimization, collaborate with the client's R&D department and other company’s departments to effectively implement the product.
• needs and translate them into specifications; willingness to work closely with customers.
• Communication and Networking Skills: ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with external (customers) and internal (peer groups, other LAPP entities) stakeholders - an outgoing personality.
• Flexible and Growth Mindset: openness to business growth and career opportunities within LAPP. Potential to grow into roles such as Engineering Lead with direct subordinates or Technical Sales lead.
• Self-motivated and systematic working style.
• Teamworking skills: capability and willingness to work as a team leader in the future is an asset.
• Willingness to travel on business, also abroad.

THE PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Education: Engineering qualification (preferably in electrical or related technical field), minimum level B.Sc.
• Work Experience: 3-5 years in a similar position. Experience in electrical manufacturing is considered an asset.
• Language Skills: Communicative in English – both verbal and written.
• Customer Orientation: ability to understand customer needs and translate them into specifications; willingness to work closely with customers.
• Communication and Networking Skills: ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with external (customers) and internal (peer groups, other LAPP entities) stakeholders - an outgoing personality.
