Student Assistant - L&S Strategic Development

This student position will give you the opportunity to learn, apply your knowledge in complex commercial and strategic topics, gain business acumen, and enhance competencies and skills that will prepare you for your future career.

As a part of the Strategic Business Development team in Logistics & Services, you will be exposed to initiatives and projects of high strategic value in driving organic growth for the business. You will gain the industry knowledge, international experience, access to senior leaders, strategic thinking and communication skills. You will have an opportunity to apply your academic skills in day to day business, by using your structured thinking, eye for detail and data oriented thought process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis covering sales pipeline, financials and other topics;
• Deriving actionable insights from data analysis
• Prepare monthly reports and presentation with regards to L&S information sharing and review sessions
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and support with gathering input / information on various strategic initiatives
• Provide data and analytical input into business models, business cases and market studies undertaken for L&S
• Support in managing various ongoing initiatives pertaining to organic growth of the L&S business

• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Interest in learning more about the logistics and services
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Inclination to apply academic models into real business problems
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
