Within NCE Offshore Service Sales, we have a team of dedicated specialists looking at after sales opportunities. These opportunities are varied and exciting to deliver as mutual beneficials for both Vestas and our customers that include service renewals, upgrades, optimization, and negotiating warranty & claim settlements. You will lead projects working closely with other sales managers, operations, technical specialists and support functions to make value creating proposals. You will then also lead the negotiations with customers to ensure a robust and risk balanced contract is agreed.

Responsibilities
As Service Sales Manager in Offshore you will be responsible for:

  • The overall commercial package for customers across several revenue streams
  • Negotiating warranty and claim settlements on key projects
  • Selling service contracts renewals, extensions, upgrades, and optimization
  • Taking ownership of the customer relationship and be responsible for improving Vestas' and the customer's overall business case based on Vestas's offerings

Qualifications

  • Experience in dealing with customers
  • Experience of negotiation
  • Knowledge and experience of working with contracts
  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent
  • Extensive Sales experience within a comparable environment. We believe that there is a lot of transferable skills utilizable for this job, but most importantly you have experience from working with large, complex contracts
  • Experience from the power generation industry or similar business sectors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and highly proficient in English, both written and verbal

  • Commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering value-added solutions that build long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Capacity to inspire and motivate internal sales teams, establishing a collaborative environment that promotes performance and achieves sales targets
  • Structured thinking with attention to detail and quality. Interest in complex agreements and willingness to explore innovative solutions
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and effectively maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management on both customer and Vestas side. This includes the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and effectively convey complex information
  • Proficient communication skills to engage with customers, internal and external project teams, and other stakeholders. Ability to network within and outside the company, establish and maintain trust-based customer relationships
  • Scrutinize cost bases to optimize service offerings
